The reason is simple: I always wanted to quit math, but I always thought: I’ll learn a little bit more before I quit. I would like to understand how things come together.
(Hala)
I’m still trying to figure out how some (presently fractious & uncooperative) things came together, and going a little bit mad in the process. (Note to self: pick simpler and more boring term paper topics in future.) But that’s why we never get around to quitting, despite the bad moments: how can you not want to understand, a little bit more, the ways things knit themselves into a world?
